What are your 3 words for 2012?

by alan.young on January 6, 2012

Why just three words?
Because it narrows your purpose to a fine point and helps you keep focused. My three words are: Passion, Hustle and Love. These three words will equal success which spells out God’s will being fulfilled in and through my life.
Passion going to a whole new level of greater depths in the things of God…
Hustle represents doing and can best be summarized in a statement from St. Francis of Assisi, “Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible”. With that being said our dream and vision in life needs to be so big and out of reach in the possible, that when great things are being accomplished in and through our lives, businesses and ministry the Lord and He alone receives all the glory and praise!
Love…
Because God is love.
Because He so loved the world that He gave…
Because the Word instructs us to walk in love.
Because our love to reach the lost here and in the Nations is evident in our giving and going.

I also am excited to share with you that Agape International is moving forward mightily in the Philippines and the Indian Sub-Cont. in our School of Ministries and Church planting’s resulting in salvation’s and lives being touched and transformed by the power of the Gospel.

I have been meeting with Rev. Nasir of Hope in Christ Ministries regularly and the Lord has so much in store as we also will be laboring together in reaching the Nations. There are some truly remarkable things taking place that we are planning and strategizing that is simply Holy Spirit inspired. Will be sharing more in the coming weeks.

Know that the Lord has great things in store for you this year!

My three words for this year are WHO. WILL. HEAR. on new years eve God asked me a very strong question. He asked me what criteria do I use when determining who gets here or not when I make my list. As you can tell that was a very humbling statement. So I asked God what he wanted me to learn from it. His response was bring awareness of how many people have never heard the gospel. the bible says LOOK at the field and see this is white. if we will look and see you then we will get a global vision. Because where there is no vision the people perish. The people that the church have no vision for are perishing daily. so God said give the church a vision for the people that are perishing. AMEN

My three words will be reach out everywhere. I am challenged to reach out with the love of Christ to all those around. I was touched recently by reading that we must not be building our own kingdom, but be building His. How many times are we focused on building our own? I can be so guilty of that – my desire this year is to build His kingdom all around.
