So very Thankful!

I am waiting to board our flight from New Delhi to Newark, NJ and just wanted to share some further thoughts before leaving…

Wow it has been an amazing journey back to the Indian Sub-Continent. My heart has been filled with emotion beyond expression. Joy, excitement, passion, tears, burden and an overwhelming sense of the Lords mandate upon us (the Agape team) to move forward full-throttle in the vision and calling He has set before us! The Lord is moving in the great land of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh. On the surface one could feel absolutely hopeless because of the masses of people here who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, below the surface as one local pastor put it, “you have only seen the tip of the iceberg.” Beneath the surface, there are Hindus, Muslims, and Buddhist coming to Christ through seeing the individual miracles of healings, Gods love, grace and hope in Christ.

It was March 1983 when I first came to India. I spent a few years coming and going and living here. The last time I was here was in 1994 when my wife Mara and I took our three kids, then 7,5 and 2 to stay for three months. I am so very thankful to the Lord for the re-birthing of this call to this great region of the world in the 10/40 window.

“Oh God, I will not take lightly this calling. Enable me to lean constantly on you for strength, direction, purpose and integrity. Help me dear Lord to effectively communicate this to Your people as you lead and provide an army of prayer warriors and financial support for this ministry to the 10/40 window.”

Thank you to everyone, We are fulfilling the Great Commission together as we Go In Faith!

Alan: I’ve followed your recent trip through my wonderful conversations with Mara. She has been my mom’s in-home nurse for a few months now and it is a real blessing to get to fellowship with her and follow along with you (in prayer) through India and Bhutan. I’ve booked the goinfaith.com website and look forward to all God is doing through this ministry. God bless ~ Jeni

Jeni, Thanks so much! Mara has told me about you :) and family story…very moving. And thanks for your faithful prayer support. It means a lot and we knew and felt it too. Alan

Your heart beats strong and passionate for the lost of India, as does the Lord’s. He is not willing that any should perish, but all come to the knowledge of Him. Go forth again – in faith!
