The Urgency, The Power!

by alan.young on July 26, 2012

Here is a quick Nepal update:

The Urgency…People, people and masses of people everywhere, all the time. It seem overwhelming if one sees and looks with their natural eyes. But I know God is moving in mighty mighty ways because of our time with local pastors and missionaries. However the fact remains that the workers/laborers are few, this is the Urgency of the hour.

The Power:

The Lord knows we can’t do it…fulfill the Great Commission and fulfill His plan and purpose for our lives on our own. Therefore He gives strength and power. “The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!” Psalm 68:35

Holy Spirit Power! Acts 1:8

On our way to the villages right next to the border of India where there is no church, no fellowship, no witness! Pastor Santosh (above right) is from India and pastors a church there and overseas missions in the region is in the first stages of starting and new church plant in this unreached village, Kuttidagi/Amdagai Nepal. Please keep him in your intercessory prayers.

With Pastor Santosh and team with India in background from Nepal.

The Philippines is on Fire!

by alan.young on April 25, 2012

Chris Reynolds and I (Alan Young) are flying out in a few hours back to the US.

If you were to ask us, “How would you summarize your ministry this time in one word in the Philippines?” We would answer with a resounding, “Family!”

Why family you ask? It seem more and more as we travel around the world doing what God has called us to do, He overwhelmingly confirms His word  to us by demonstrating His love and power through the local body of Christ, which is our family. In Manila we truly felt like foreigners or sojourners in a strange land, but the moment we arrived in General Santos City we were at home with family and this extended to our family in Davao City.

The Lord is doing a remarkable work here through the “Jesus the Hard Rock Ministry” in GenSan.

Pastors Tito and Nelrose Sasam in Davao City of Releaser of Life Family Church, the Lord is using them in raising up a generation of Joshua and Caleb’s that is reaching their city and fulfilling a destiny that is producing world changers!

Synergy University is equipping them as they prepare and go in both locations.

The altars were packed every night with young people crying out to God for enlarged visions and bigger dreams for the Nations!

Just a quick update here…Thanks so much for all your prayers and support. Know that every heart/life that the Lord touched you were a part of it!

Alan and Chris
